I had writer's block again today, so I went outside with my dog to run some errands. It was beautiful weather. We got some ice cream and rode in the car with the music blasting and the windows down. He let his tongue fly like a kite out the window, letting the wind whoosh across his ears and ruffle through his fur until it looked wild and ridiculous.
I laughed and smiled the entire time we were gone, and relished every second.
It's nice to enjoy the little things again.

And as per your question about football, I do love the Steelers, but apart from them, I don't watch much football. There are too many things I'd rather do with 3-4 hours rather than watch TV.
